GETTING TO QUEENSTOWN BY PLANE

Queenstown International Airport is serviced by numerous international flights as well as key domestic flight routes: Auckland, Wellington and Christchurch.

The airport is located just 10 minutes drive from central Queenstown, making air travel an extremely efficient option for reaching Queenstown. Qantas Airways, Jetstar Airways, Virgin Australia Airlines, Air New Zealand have both direct and connecting flights between Australian capital cities (Melbourne and Sydney) and Queenstown, New Zealand.

PUBLIC TRANSPORT TO AND FROM AIRPORT

Buses, airport shuttles, taxis and limos are all lined up outside the terminal, ready to go. Taxis and Airport Shuttles offer door-to-door service and the public bus comes through every 15 minutes.

GETTING HERE AND AROUND QUEENSTOWN

Getting to Queenstown and exploring our area is easy, with a wide selection of transport options.  The centre of Queenstown is located just 15 minutes drive from Queenstown International Airport. There is a good public bus network which links the main suburbs and outlying areas of the town.

You'll also find free transport provided by many local activity operators making it easy to get out and about and experience what the region has to offer.

Many attractions and accommodation options are located in the downtown area and can be reached easily by foot.
